Postdoctoral researchers in Intelligent and Autonomous Systems

Job description

The Optimization & Systems Theory research group at KTH is inviting applications for up to two postdoctoral researcher positions in the broad field of Intelligent and Autonomous Systems. All areas of intelligent and autonomous systems will be considered; however, the group particularly encourages applications from individuals who have expertise in the following four research pillars: (a) distributed control, optimization, and RL, (b) privacy and security in autonomous systems, (c) games and mechanism design in networks, and (d) physics-aware learning. The ideal candidates are expected to possess a strong sense of self-motivation, a clear career objective, strong academic records, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the research group.

The selected candidates will also be enrolled in the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems, and Software Program (WASP), thereby gaining privileged access to its extensive resources. The WASP is Sweden’s largest individual research program ever, a major national initiative for strategically motivated basic research, education, and faculty recruitment. The program addresses research on artificial intelligence and autonomous systems acting in collaboration with humans, adapting to their environment through sensors, information, and knowledge, and forming intelligent systems-of-systems. The vision of WASP is excellent research and competence in artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and software for the benefit of the Swedish industry.
