Job description
The duties of the Postdoctoral Researcher comprise independent scientific research in the field of management accounting. The duties also comprise teaching and supervision of Bachelor’s thesis in the field of accounting and finance. The Postdoctoral Researcher participates in the planning of researcher projects in co-operation with other researchers, and takes part in administrative duties.
Essential requirements
By opening the position of Postdoctoral Researcher, we aim to promote the research career of persons who have recently completed their doctoral degree. Person selected for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher shall have an appropriate doctoral degree (accounting or accounting & finance), successfully completed by the end of the application period, but no more than five (5) years having passed since the completion of the degree. While counting the five-year period, maternity/paternal leaves and military service will not be taken into account.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a proven track record of independent and high-quality scientific work in the field of management accounting. Successful applicants have strong research orientation and fluency in English.
Desirable qualifications
Applicants with good methodological knowledge, previous experience on teaching in methodological courses and experience on supervision are favored.

Salaries
The salary is determined in accordance with the university salary system for teaching and research personnel. For a Postdoctoral Researcher the salary is at levels 5-6 on the job demands chart, where the task specific salary component is 3044,00 – 3549,72 €/month. In addition, a personal work performance component is will be paid depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
Trial Period
The position is subject to a six months trial period.
