The Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences at Lund University is a multifaceted disciplinary environment for research and higher education, with around 90 employees and approximately 1700 students per year. The Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences runs several research environments and study programmes in the first, second and third cycles, distributed over nine divisions and two specialised centres.
Lund University hereby announces vacancies for three two-year employment positions for postdoctoral research fellows in cultural history perspectives, one specialising in the media, one specialising in aesthetics and one specialising in the study of knowledge and science, all based at the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences.

The assessment criteria are a good ability to develop and implement research of high quality, and teaching ability. For employment as a postdoctoral research fellow, research ability will be the main criterion. As grounds for assessment of their qualifications, the applicants are to attach a research plan for the research they intend to implement during their employment. Only applicants whose research plan and previous work are deemed capable of reinforcing the research environment at the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences will be considered for employment as postdoctoral research fellows.
