The Department of Biology at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Odense, invites applications for a postdoctoral position (two and a half year) in Aquatic Toxicology to start as soon as possible. Application deadline: 27 March 2019.
The applicant must have obtained a PhD in biological sciences and have relevant research experience, preferably in aquatic vertebrate ecotoxicology.

The candidate will in particular conduct experiments to investigate the effects of especially thyroid disrupting chemicals in endemic species of frogs, but the candidate will also be expected to take part in other research projects within the Ecotoxicology group.
The main tasks of the candidate will include experimental design and setup, laboratory analyses, preparation of manuscripts, teaching and/or supervision of biology and pharmacy students.
Good practical skills and English writing skills are required, and candidates with experience in histopathology, aquatic exposure setups and chemical analysis (e.g. LC-MSMS) will to be preferred.
