The PhD fellowship is open to research projects within the following areas of the department’s research profile:

  1. Organizational narratives and organizational change

We invite project proposals with focus on organizational narratives under the broad umbrella of organizational change in the public sector (e.g. health care and higher education), NGO’s and private organizations (small, medium and large-sized organizations). We are especially interested in PhD project proposals that contribute to research within the study of narratives applied in various organizational contexts (NGO’s, private organizations, public institutions) with specific focus on organizational change

  1. Data Modelling and Information Visualization

The ever-growing amounts of data has been a driving factor for the constant improvement in data analysis and modelling areas. As a result, tools are continuously created to facilitate the extraction of useful answers from data, however there is a noticeable gap between the results from these areas and the ability to present the derived information in meaningful ways. We invite project proposals to be carried out between Data Science (areas including data analysis, modelling and interactive visualization techniques to support exploratory data) and concepts analysis that can, in turn, help to represent and communicate more effectively information in different domains of knowledge.
